12 artists will be shown at The Geezer Gallery Guerrilla Art show, First Thursday Art Walk, April 1, 2010 from 5-9 pm. Hope on the Trolley and take a stop at the Sheldon, 935 NW 19th, in the NW District.

Established artists of course will be featured, as well as an exhibition that will include the work of emerging elder artists, The Four Friends. Steve Maldin, a fi...ne arts instructor from PCNA has become friend and and mentor to Linnea Koze, Jo Ann Michaelis and Elizabeth Schwartz. Highlighting the work of The Geezer Gallery (www.geezergallery.com) Artists including Bill Rutherford: Bill will be showing at the NW District First Friday: The Sheldon (19th & Kearney) April 1, 2010 5-9 pm.

Bill is a self-taught African American artist who has exhibited in Los Angeles and Portland. He works in a variety of mediums: currently works in acrylic on panel and canvas, ink and ink-wash on paper, plater and paper over armature and wire & wood sculpture.

Bill is a respected exhibits designer who has taught graphics, and volunteered in children's multicultural art programs.
